Dulary going to see her friend the rhino

Dularys last full day at the Philly Zoo. Her enrichment for almost all her 42 years at the Philly zoo has been a metal barrel chained to the ground in an otherwise barren exhibit. Over the stone fence of her 1/4 acre exhibit is her friend the rhino. She often tried to reach out to him and communicate. She has had to live in solitary confinement for 16 months, separated from Petal, Bette, and Kallie. 4/29/07 Photo: C.Emerson
